I am the founder and technical lead at Alcyone Secure, where I work on practical cybersecurity and privacy focused solutions. I am the creator of Black Box, a forensic flight recorder for Windows built around a simple question: when a computer leaves its owner’s control, how can the owner know what actually happened to it? My work focuses on endpoint security, privacy, accountability, and digital evidence. I became interested in this problem after researching real world cases involving device access and sensitive data exposure, which led me to explore the gap between trusting someone with legitimate access and having independent evidence of what happened afterward. I have since researched and built Black Box from the ground up, taking it from the initial problem and research stage to a working Windows product. Through this work, I have been exploring a security area that I believe is often overlooked: accountability after legitimate access, rather than only prevention or detection.
